BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! We are now giving a portion of the proceeds to the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION!

About Women of Metal Fest

The Women of Metal Fest is a weekend-long celebration of female-fronted metal, in all its glorious forms. In the first year alone you will hear prog metal from MindMaze, straight-up heavy metal from Writing Off Tomorrow, the modern symphonic metal sounds of Theatrum Mundi, the punk-infused metal of Lies, Inc., with more bands to be announced soon…Come with us and explore the boundaries of Femme-Metal within and without.

Immersion

You love the music, the clothes, and the people of metal, and you will love Women of Metal Fest I. Immerse in the July weekend, kicking off with total access to the Women of Metal Fest bands on Friday night. Then bang your head to the live performances all day Saturday! And if your brain hasn’t melted by show's end, join the bands for an outdoor brunch on Sunday where you all can bathe together with fine food and drink in the afterglow of the weekend! Cost for the entire weekend, ten dollars US in advance from the bands! The backstage will truly come to the fans, all weekend long!

Venue for the July 11 Meet-and-Greet | 7pm

History

WoMF began as an outgrowth of Female Voices of Metal Fest, which was a winter festival held in 2013 and 2014. Jayson Shell hosted FVMF II, with Mike Moscato promoting. At that festival, Michael Ray Gould from the band Theatrum Mundi met up with Leeja Stark's manager Rich Stark, and the two proposed the idea of organizing a summer festival with an emphasis toward building the Femme-Metal community.

Final Lineup for the show!

Lie's, Inc.
Writing Off Tomorrow
Theatrum Mundi
MindMaze
Leeja Stark
A Sound Of Thunder
Midnight Eternal
Beyond Eden
